Massage Cupping Therapeutic Bodywork

Facial Rejuvenation Treatment

Reiki, Craniosacral & Light Touch Energy Work

Integrative Wellness Massage

Let the tension in your body melt away with a deeply relaxing Swedish based wellness massage. Improving circulation, encouraging release of muscle tension, and breaking the daily stress cycle within your body are just a few of the benefits.

Therapeutic Bodywork

Our bodies are built of weights, pulleys and scaffolding that we call muscles, fascia and bones. These parts link together to form a kinetic chain, from head to toe. With condition assessment and postural analysis, determining where a problem starts and how it affects the chain can put you on the road to recovery.

Therapeutic bodywork modalities include: Range of Motion, Compressions, Myofascial release, Craniosacral,  Stretches, Trigger Points, Neuromuscular re-patterning, and self-care recommendations, just to name a few.

Often times, these therapeutic techniques are just as relaxing and satisfying as a traditional Swedish relaxation massage!

Prenatal Massage

With a growing belly and changing body, mothers-to-be need special care. Reduction of stress and tension is good for you and your little bundle.

I have training in prenatal relaxation massage, and special techniques to treat achy hips and backs, always with an awareness of contraindications and "danger zones".  Belly rubs promote healthy digestion, can shift growing babies (who may have a foot uncomfortably kicking your back or ribs), and can feel really good for you and Jr.

Massage Cupping Bodywork Therapy

This ancient form of bodywork utilizes negative pressure (aka suction) and movement to lift and mobilize tissues, lymph and stagnant blood in the body. Being safe for nearly everyone, massage cupping is used for both its therapeutic and cosmetic benefits.

It should be noted that any and all cupping therapies, including facial cupping, can (but not always) leave marks on the skin, affectionately know as "cup kisses". This happens when the cups draw stagnant blood and lymph out of congested muscle tissue, up to the surface, underneath the skin. Your body can then dispersed and disposed of it in a natural way. Marks can last mere minutes or up to a week, and will change colors in the process, depending on what was drawn out. This is a normal part of cupping and should not cause alarm! It simply means the cupping is doing it's job. Cup kisses can look pretty cool and be a fun conversation starter!

The therapeutic benefits of this dynamic cupping technique are:
  • Lymph drainage
  • Breaking up of adhesions
  • Myofascial release
  • Affects deep tissues
  • Moves stagnation
  • Reduces inflammation and pain
  • Stimulates blood flow and increases circulation
  • Calms the nervous system for deep relaxation

The benefits of this technique are seemingly endless!

Facial Rejuvenation Treatment

This is not your standard facial massage. This unique treatment uses gentle negative pressure to deeply hydrate the skin around the eyes, face, neck and decolletage.

We start with a light application of organic coconut and/or avocado oil, infused with rose, lavender and frankincense essential oils. This powerful, skin loving combination of  anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and soothing ingredients, further boosts the benefits of the treatment. Next, small glass suction cups are then applied and systematically moved across the face and neck. We finish with an organic rosewater hydrating spray.

This treatment leaves you with skin that is firmer, smoother, and brighter. Deeply relaxing, this pain free treatment brings out your naturally youthful glow, without the use of harsh chemicals, needles or surgery. And unlike traditional body cupping, this method rarely leaves "cup kisses" or marks on the skin (though for some people, it is possible). With regular treatments, experience long lasting results without the pain or price of traditional  methods.  Invest in the health of your skin!

Results will naturally vary from person to person, and usually require a few sessions for outwardly noticeable and lasting results. Check out the "Specials" tab for information on 3 session package discounts.

Reiki is the Japanese practice of channeling and directing the universal life force (energy found everywhere and in everything), through the recipient to promote relaxation, health and general well being.  This gentle energy work modality is appropriate and safe for nearly everyone, including those who can not receive traditional massage. (Unfortunately, it is not recommended for those with pace makers).

Craniosacral Work

This holistic healing modality uses gentle touch at the head, neck and sacrum (tale of your spine), to achieve balance in the craniosacral rhythm. The craniosacral rhythm is the flow, or pulse, in an enclosed system between your cranium and sacrum comprised of bones, connective tissue, spinal fluid, and nerves. This very subtle work can have a very profound effect on the physical, emotional and energetic body.

This acupressure technique focuses on different pressure points or reflex zones on the feet. These reflex zones correlate to different organs/systems within our bodies. Reflexology aims to stimulate these reflex zones, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and general well being. And it feels AMAZING!

Hot Stones

In this add- on service, smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.

Essential oils incorporated into massage lotions add a deeper sense of wellness and relaxation to your session. Enjoy as an add-on service.
